About

I am a well-educated engineer with over 20 years of experience in Information Technology and systems. My career began as a C and Assembly programmer at Egypt Soft company, where I contributed to the development of a bilingual Arabic/English spreadsheet under DOS. After earning my Master’s degree, I served as a service engineer at automated operation centers for MX computer units, specialized computers for controlling RADAR and SAM operation centers. I contributed to the project of automating SAR at the Search and Rescue Center in Almaza Air Base using PowerHouse DB and Cognos on a UNIX environment.

In the early 2000s, I executed a database migration of the “Criminal Registration of Egyptian Armed Forces” from an Arabized dBase system using Nafitha Arabization system to Oracle 7 on a Windows server platform using PowerBuilder tools.

While serving in the Medical Service Department, I participated in building the business process model of the Health Care Management System at Kobri El Qubba, supervised the training of users on the HCMS, administered the infrastructure network at the Kobri El Qubba Medical Compound, and contributed to the planning of the WAN infrastructure for military hospitals and the local network at the Misr El Gadida Military Hospital.
